Sarawak Trip Continued

In the last couple of weeks I have returned to Texas and started teaching a Field Ecology course at our Field Station in Junction, Texas. Finally, I have some time to make my last posts before bringing this blog to an end.

Stop at the Market

We started out tour by stopping at a local market in a town outside of Kuching.

Fern fiddle heads. Ferns taste surprisingly good!

Because there is a much larger population of Christians in Sarawak than in the pennisula, you are much more likely to see Christian symbols in Sarawak.

The ubiquitous motor skooters.

This shop sells a bit of everything.

Prawns

This boy was fascinated by a tub full of squirmy catfish.

Yum, chicken with their feet on.

The ladies.
