Numga Sumpa- Fishing

Along the way they would stop to fish. The man who is throwing the net is the longhouses "Shaman" or "medicine man". He seemed like a very interesting guy and I wished that I was able to communicate better (or any) with him.

When he spotted a good spot, or could actually see fish under the water (it was pretty clear) he would throw a rock to attract the fish. Then he would toss out the net.


As he starts pulling the net in we start to wonder ...
