Wat Pho- The Temple of the Reclining Buddha

Wat Pho is located nearby the Grand Palace in Bangkok. It is one of the largest and oldest temples in Bangkok containing over 1000 statues of Buddha. Wat Pho is best known for the Reclining Buddha, a gold plated statue that is over 46 meters long (that's nearly half a football field!!)and 15 meters high. School Assignment at Wat Pho
There was a class of Thai university students on a field trip to Wat Pho. They didn't look too excited about having to work on an assignment while they were there (or maybe they just weren't too happy that I was taking their picture).

Don't you think that the school uniforms worn by many of the female Thai University students looks much better than the Nike shorts and Ugg boots that dominated the Tech fashion scene last year ? Hopefully, better fashion sense will appear this semester!
