Taman Negara- Freshwater Fishes

The rivers that drain Taman Negara provide good habitat for freshwater fishes. Fishing in the rivers is another popular tourist activity at Taman Negara. Entry fees to the park were only 1 ringgit (about 3o cents), it cost 5 ringgit per camera, and 10 ringgit per fishing pole. That must mean that fishing is twice as much fun as photography.

There was a small "aquarium" near the National Park Headquarters.

Some big "carp-like" fish.
