Malaysian-American Alumni Partnership Holiday Dinner

The Malaysian-American Alumni Partnership (MAAP) is a group of people who have been involved in US State Department sponsored exchange programs between the US and Malaysia. Even though I am not officially an alumnus, they let me come to their holiday party last week. Thanks to MAAP and the US Embassy for hosting this even and feeding me turkey for a second time in less than a month! Happy Holidays Everyone!!

Some of the young alumni.

Important People (notice who is not in this photo). There were a group of politicians from the US on a short-term exchange program for young leaders. Some were from Oklahoma and others were from Missouri. The bald man in the white shirt in the center of the photo is Joe Dorman, a congressman from Oklahoma. It was interesting talking to him about his experiences.

Two of the visiting politicians (I think these guys were from St. Louis) with two of the Malaysia alumni. In case you haven't figured it out, the two men are from the States.

US Ambassador to Malaysia, Paul Jones, joined us for dinner and had a few words.

They managed to catch me with my mouth full. What are the odds of that?!?

All of these photos are from MAAP's Facebook page
