Historical Georgetown

The British influence on Georgetown is still very apparent.

The grassy area in front of the old Town Hall building is known as the Esplanade. The Esplanade was the location of a major New Years Eve Celebration in Georgetown (you can see that they had already started setting up booths). I read in the paper that over 4 tons of trash were left behind by the people who celebrated in the Esplanade.
