Sipadan Mabul Resort

On Mabul Island I stayed at the Sipadan Mabul Resort and dove with SMART Divers. The cabins were comfortable, the food was good, and most importantly, the diving operation was well run and the dive guids were good.

There are four large resorts and a few smaller back-packer style places to stay on Mabul.

The Mabul Water Bungalows are built entirely over the water.


Seaventures is an old oil platform that has been converted into a dive hotel. I bet that people on the island were pretty ticked off when they brought that monstrosity in.
