Thean Hou Temple
Thean Hou Temple is a Chinese temple set on a hill about halfway between where I live in PJ and downtown KL. This large temple was built by the local Chinese community in the 1980s. It it a popular destination during the Chinese New Year celebration so it was very crowded this weekend.

Thean Hou Temple has six levels and is considered to be one of the largest Chinese temples in South East Asia.
The temple is decorated with bright red Chinese lanterns for Chinese New Year. I spent a couple of hours last week going around KL counting the number of Chinese lanterns. I got up to eleventy billion.
Outside the entrance of the main temple.
Burning incense outside of the temple.
I think that this is a statue located in the main temple is Guan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy.
