The Chinese Temples that I have seen have very interesting architecture and decorations. I am sure that there is all sorts of symbolism involved that I don't really know anything about, but I just think that these temples are cool. I also like the nature theme.
Dragons
Dragons were a recurring theme at Thean Hou Temple. If you want to know more about the symbolism of Chinese dragons then you can check out the Wikipedia article below. The dragon is often paired with the Pheonix (see below) as the masculine member of the pair.
