We finished the formal portion of the conference with the US - Southeast Asian Cultural Night held at the grounds of the National Museum in Bangkok. They set up a series of booths to allow us to experience a little bit more about Thai art and food. Most of the booths were manned by high school-aged students so it was great to see the next generation keeping some of their cool traditions going.
This band kept us entertained throughout the evening.
Flower Art
These guys showed us how to make elaborate flower arrangements (see below)
Thai Candy
These girls are showing how to make some type of Thai candy. They start by rolling a dough/paste into the desired shape.
Then they paint them with a variety of different colors.
The final product. Almost look too good to eat!
